FEED GRADE UREA provides a good source of effective rumen degradable protein (ERDP) to adult ruminants, but care should always be taken to ensure diets are correctly balanced.

As feeding levels are very low due to its high nitrogen content, it is essential that urea is mixed thoroughly with other feeds prior to offering to animals.

Dairy Cows: Up to 100g/hd/day

Beef: Up to 100g/hd/day

  • Highly concentrated effective nitrogen source for adult ruminants
  • Supplies rapidly available nitrogen
  • Good balancer for low protein, high energy feeds
  • Can be used to preserve moist forage or grain
  • Alkaline pH results from hydrolysis with water
  • The highest % of protein of any feed on the market, when used correctly will reduce the protein cost of any ration

NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY UREA OTHER THAN FEED GRADE UREA BE OFFERED IN DIETS FOR LIVESTOCK. WHERE THE USE OF UREA AS A FEED ADDITIVE IS REQUIRED, PROFESSIONAL ADVICE MUST BE TAKEN AS THE RATES CAN VARY WIDELY.

Store in secure cool dry conditions. Care should be taken to ensure correct amounts are weighed and that the straight material is kept away from animal contact.
